Promotion & Audience Understanding
I’m committed to passionately influencing people, which means I’m more than happy to do whatever I can to help get your audience excited and prepared for the event. Whether it’s a video or a podcast interview, I want to help get them thinking before they arrive.
For most events I provide any or all of the following:
- Provide you with all of the event-planner assets that you will need
- Create a custom event promotional video (1-2 minutes)
- Record an interview for blog posts or podcasts (have already done one with Jamie Gruber that should air in January 2024)
I also believe that a great keynote requires thoughtful preparation. That means truly understanding your audience and customizing the presentation to ensure the message hits home. Here are my notes about your audience based on our discussion:
- Men’s-only event – approximately 250 attendees
- Members of Gobundance and a few invited guests
- Typically mid-40’s, with some younger – married with kids
- Focused on whole life (including family, 85% involved in real-estate investing)
- Authenticity is important
- Like to stay active and engaged
During The Event
Unlike many speakers, I prefer to stay the full day or full-event (when possible.) Why? Because I know that when attendees have the chance to interact with your keynote speakers they’re able to get their questions answered and take more away from the event.
So make the most of my time while I’m there:
- Organize a book signing
- Do a breakout session
- Attend cocktail hour
- Participate on a panel
- Have a VIP lunch table
- Conduct office hours

After The Event
As an event organizer, I know how exhausting running an event can be. That’s why we want to ensure you’re armed with the necessary assets to make all your event follow-up, easy, fun, and memorable.
Within one day of the event’s end we’ll provide any of the following:
- A link to the presentation deck to share with every attendee
- A short reminder video to keep people focused and inspired when they get back to the office
- A podcast interview or blog post interview about the event
- A follow-up 30-min online session a few months after the event

Since 1995, he has authored more than 100 published articles. Tim is also the host of the Ace The Agenda podcast for organizers of large conferences and events. He was also the online voice of website improvement as the host of the Landing Page Optimization Podcast on WebmasterRadio.fm (over 130 recorded interview episodes with top online marketing experts).
Tim earned a dual-major Bachelor of Science degree “with highest distinction” in Computer Engineering and Cognitive Science from U.C. San Diego while studying on a U.C. Regents Scholarship (the highest academic award of the U.C. system). He stayed on at U.C. San Diego for seven years and pursued research and Ph.D. studies focused on neural networks, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Although Tim never defended his dissertation, he advanced to candidacy and earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science along the way.
Originally born in the Soviet Union, Tim has been a long-time resident of San Diego, where he lives with his wife and two children within walking distance of the Pacific Ocean. Tim was a conference-winning collegiate sabre fencer and Athlete of the Month at U.C. San Diego, and is a certified Tai Chi Chuan martial arts instructor. He is a poet, painter, salsa dancer, and an avid photographer specializing in travel and fine-art figurative work.
